The Malaysians in Kansai club is a non-profit private group of Malaysians.Our primary purpose is to serve as a means for members to keep in touch with Malaysians living in Japan.

MAKAN CLUB is derived from MALAYSIAN IN KANSAI CLUB (MA -MALAYSIAN, KAN -KANSAI). It's meaning Makan means eating in the Malaysian Language.

What are the MAKAN CLUB'S GOALS?

-To assist Malaysians in times of crisis and emergencies

-To provide friendship among members and their families

-To promote social, cultural, leisurely and educational activities

-To provide information on Malaysia

- To promote understanding between Japanese and Malaysians and increase knowledge of Japan

The Makan Club established on the 31st August,1999 as a non profit group to help Malaysians adjust to and enjoy life in Japan.

As members of the Makan Club, you have access to all our activities

All persons interested in becoming members are encouraged to attend one activity before joining in order to learn about the group.Members also have the benefit of receiving the Makan Club Newletters.

The best way to settle into your new life in Japan is to get involved as soon as you can. There are many interesting and fun activities or functions you can participate in as well as volunteer opportunities at the Makan Club. And you will have the opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful people. Let's us strengthen our social bonds and work closely to make this group a home away from home for Malaysians living and working in Japan.
